Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue (SSR) Legal Archives documents the legal fallout from the May 2024 takeover of Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue, a nonprofit dog rescue I co-founded in 2017 that went on to save thousands of dogs.
It begins with the original lawsuit, CL24–533, filed in Frederick County to challenge how control of the organization was taken and the actions used to remove me. That case resulted in the court restoring my position and addressing the validity of what occurred during that period.
It continues with the defamation case, CL25–325, which addresses the public accusations made during the takeover, including claims of larcenous conduct that I assert are false and constitute defamation per se under Virginia law.
Together, these cases document both what was done and what was said, and they form the foundation of the legal record preserved here.
